Urgent requirement: elevator technician (Michigan)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Berrien County, Michigan. You will be based in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways 4+ years on the tools preferred.
