Safety marshal • Patrick County, Virginia

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Patrick County, Virginia. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. On a typical shift you will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Six days a week, one day off.
