Pipe tig welder — Watonwan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Watonwan County, Minnesota. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Your main tasks: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
