Foundry labourer • Kibiya, Kano State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Kibiya, Kano State. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. On a typical shift you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 3+ years on the tools preferred.
