Core maker • Grafton County, New Hampshire

Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Grafton County, New Hampshire. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On a typical shift you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
