Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Nelson County, North Dakota. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
