Precision welder wanted in Nelson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a precision welder in Nelson County, North Dakota. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day to day you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp.
