Urgent requirement: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Skagit County, Washington. You will work at a cold storage facility. Requirements: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel You will install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
