Trainee butcher — Rabah

Join our team: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Rabah, Sokoto State. Day-to-day duties: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
