Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Herkimer County, New York. The role involves: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Part-time with flexible hours.
