Now hiring: we are hiring a scullery hand in Burt County, Nebraska. The job is in a hotel kitchen. The role involves mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift. What we are looking for: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred Rotating shifts.
