Immediate opening: we are hiring a steward in Baker County, Georgia. The job is at a fast-food outlet. Day-to-day duties: • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room You should have: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
