Slinger signaller — Florence County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Florence County, South Carolina. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Rotating shifts.
