Join our team: we are hiring a gardener in Emmet County, Michigan. You will be based in a botanical garden. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Day to day you will sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
