Stitching operator • Abi, Cross River State

Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Abi, Cross River State. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Day-to-day duties: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 5+ years on the tools preferred. ₦230,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
