Cnc lathe setter • Meigs County, Tennessee

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Meigs County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
