JCB operator — Mid Ulster

We are recruiting: we are hiring a JCB operator in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. You will be based at a landfill site. You should have: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely.
