We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Camden County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
