Foundry labourer — Bandera County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Bandera County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Rotating shifts.
