Conventional mill operator — Lafayette County

Join our team: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Lafayette County, Mississippi. You will work at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Six days a week, one day off.
