CNC programmer-operator — Amador County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Amador County, California. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Day-to-day duties: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed Requirements: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
