Milling machine operator wanted in Allegheny County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience On a typical shift you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
