Gas installation technician — Albany County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Albany County, New York. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. Requirements: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing On a typical shift you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections.
