Formwork joiner — Gallatin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Gallatin County, Illinois. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. You will brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. What we are looking for: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
