Carpenter — Platte County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a carpenter in Platte County, Nebraska. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. On a typical shift you will hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
