You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory The role involves: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
