Tower crane operator — Boone County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Boone County, Indiana. You will work on a busy construction site. You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes On the job you will handle: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
