Port container crane operator — Pike County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Pike County, Alabama. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
