Immediate opening: refrigeration and AC technician (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC technician in DeKalb County, Illinois. You will work at an air conditioning service centre. Your main tasks: • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge You should have: • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • Presentable and polite with customers on site • Can read electrical and piping schematics 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
