We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in North Northamptonshire, England. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred On a typical shift you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
