You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot On a typical shift you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height.
