Great opportunity: nursery worker (South Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a nursery worker in Horry County, South Carolina. You will work in a public park. The role involves: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Full-time, day shift.
