Baker wanted in Rock Island County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a baker in Rock Island County, Illinois. You will work in a bread factory. Day to day you will proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Full-time, day shift.
