Site safety steward — Sharp County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Sharp County, Arkansas. You will work on a high-rise building project. Day to day you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 6+ years on the tools preferred.
