Day to day you will maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant 1+ years on the tools preferred.
