Backhoe operator • Castro County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Castro County, Texas. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. You should have: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
