Vacancy available: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Anderson County, Tennessee. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. On the job you will handle: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds What we are looking for: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
