Now hiring: we are hiring a head baker in Mineral County, Nevada. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Day to day you will rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience.
