Vacancy available: tiling assistant (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Leslie County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy tiling site. Day-to-day duties: • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level You should have: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
