Immediate opening: steam press operator (Washington)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Benton County, Washington. The job is in a tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment You will give each garment a final press before packing; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing.
