Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Winkler County, Texas. You will work in a metal finishing workshop. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting Day-to-day duties: • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun 4+ years on the tools preferred.
