Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Washington County, Iowa. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles You will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
