Cook — Maiha

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cook in Maiha, Adamawa State. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO Requirements: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies 1+ years on the tools preferred.
