The role involves: • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Full-time with occasional weekends.
