Gypsum plasterer • Brown County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Brown County, Ohio. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Requirements: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Your main tasks: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork Rotating shifts.
