Trailer driver — Coos County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trailer driver in Coos County, Oregon. The job is at a container freight yard. Day-to-day duties: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Part-time with flexible hours. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
