We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Hamilton County, Kansas. The job is on a new-build development. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
