Sheet metal press operator — Washoe County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Washoe County, Nevada. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. You will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. You should have: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Six days a week, one day off.
