Bulldozer operator — Cherokee County

Join our team: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Cherokee County, Alabama. The job is on a quarry floor. The role involves push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
