Trowel-trade bricklayer — Zango

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Zango, Katsina State. Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
